Meet The People Behind The Charity

REBECCA DOKU

Chief Executive Officer
I worked in the education sector in Ghana before relocating to the United Kingdom to join my husband. I co-founded this foundation and also serve as a trustee. I hold a degree in education from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana, a Certificate in Clinical Audit and Social Care from Greenwich University UK among others. I currently work as a Clinical Audit & Quality Specialist within the National Health Service. I am passionate about transforming lives and reaching out to the poor/needy.

TATAH AMENONYOH

Trustee & Chairman Of The Board
I am a humanitarian and community leader with over 25 year’s experience of working as Systems Analyst and IS Management.

ALEX BECKSON OPARE

Trustee
I am married with two children. I currently work as Employee Relations Consultant with over 26 years experience of charity work. This foundation means a great deal to me because it will provide hope and future for struggling communities.

WILHELMINA YELBERT BRAKO

Trustee
I work and live in the UK. I am the CEO of Cleaning Affairs Ghana Limited. I have known Eric for over 20 years and the family he has left behind is so dear to me. I am hardworking, very keen about this charity and love to make a difference. I love care so much about children and love supporting them.

DORIS AMENONYOH 

Trustee
I have over 15 year’s experience in working with young people in the education sector and in communities. This includes leading on the development of provisions and services in schools, communities, and serving on various youth panels committees. I have keen interest in social change and the impact of socialisation on the acquisition of educational credentials and leadership in developing countries. I am enthusiastic and passionate about the foundation because it seeks to improve and promote life chances of the needy. I have extensive experience in education and project management and I am committed to working and supporting the team in making a change.  

EMMANUEL TAY

Trustee
I live and work in the United Kingdom. I attained my secondary and university education in Ghana before relocating to the UK. I am married with three children, self-employed and also works as a freelance audio visual (AV) technician with diverse range of knowledge, skills, qualities and experience to fit several adhoc roles.

SOPHIA KUUKUA NEIZER

Trustee
I work in the Public Sector. I have two adorable daughters. I am passionate about Eric Doku Foundation because it tells my story. Being Charitable is an act of Godliness. The Lord gave us free salvation; therefore, we are required to freely give hope and future to others. 

PETER WILLIAM BADDOO

Trustee
I relocated to the United Kingdom where I currently live and work in the Security Sector since graduating from school in Ghana where I originally come from. I am happily married, with two adult children. My hobbies include watching football and socialising. I have known Eric for over 37 good years: we started as boys from Dzowulu, a suburb of Ghana and became men, husbands’ and fathers in London. I am passionate about this charity because it is in my brothers’ memory. 

RUPHINE ADZAYAWO

Trustee
I am nurse by profession, originally from Vakpo, a suburb of the North Dayi District in the Volta Region of Ghana. I attained my nursing and midwifery qualification in Ghana before relocating to the United Kingdom. I have known Eric for over 10 years. We both worked together as members of the interim executives of Vakpo Welfare Association UK, of which I am still the interim treasurer. I am passionate about this foundation because the charity is really treasuring Eric’s legacy which allows me to use my skills to build strong ties with my community in Vakpo and its surrounding villages.

JULIUS SNAGBEY

Trustee
I live and work in the United Kingdom for Hitachi as an Operations Manager. I am married with two children and my hobbies include watching football snooker and socialising. I am passionate about the purposes of this foundation as it depicts what my dear friend Eric stood for - reaching out to the needy.
